(f) Squeeze and lock the spring clamp located at the

throttle body. This will release the clamping

pressure on the hose. Release the spring clamp

for the crankcase breather tube and disconnect

the hose. (Fig. 5-4). Unclip the vacuum hose

rom the air inlet tube.

(g) Remove the Vacuum Switched Valve (VSV)

bracket from the slot in the air inlet tube by

pulling straight up. (Fig. 5-5, Large Arrow)

(h) Remove the air inlet tube.

(i) Remove the three (3) mounting bolts from the

air cleaner bottom. (Fig. 5-6)(10mm)

j) Remove the harness clip from the air cleaner

bottom and set aside. (Fig. 5-6)

(k) Remove the air cleaner bottom.
