6. Electrical

(a) Separate the two halves of the plastic wire

harness protector by unclipping the 10 clips

holding the two halves together. Cut the three

zip ties holding the wires to the lower protector.

(Fig. 6-1)

b) Re-shape and route the wire harness as shown.

(Fig. 6-2) Wrap the wire harness, and battery

cables with electrical tape. Install 3/4” x 13”

convolute loom wrap to the wiring from the fuse

box to the battery cable split. Install 3/4” x 7”

convolute loom wrap to the battery cables.

Secure all convolute loom wrap to the wiring

with electrical tape and wrap the convolute.

CAUTION: Ensure that all wires are covered by

the convolute or electrical tape to prevent accidental

wire rubbing on metal components. Use additional

tape for insulation as necessary.
